Snow people in California

Living abroad as a Korean sometimes makes me feel a little out of place. There are days when my small eyes or my quiet personality make me feel different from everyone around me here.
When I picture myself in the U.S., I often imagine a snowman — calm, still, quietly watching the world while everyone else moves so fast and shines so brightly.

I started creating these snow characters to reflect those emotions. They’re gentle, observant, a little lonely sometimes, but full of heart. Through them, I try to capture the feeling of being slightly out of place… yet still finding warmth in unexpected moments.
